Project Description
The aim of the project „Tajemnice leśnego zakątka” [The mysterious nook in the woods] is to promote access to pre-school education in the area of the Kartuzy Municipality. The implementation of the project made it possible to establish a new pre-school education unit for 25 pre-schoolers in Brodnica Górna. The area around the building has been adapted and modernized, and set aside for a playground. Thanks to the co-financing from the ESF funds, it is also possible to purchase equipment for the classrooms, as well as the teaching aids which are essential for the implementation of pre-school education. 2 teachers have been employed at the pre-school.
The project implementation also provides extramural activities for 925 children to help develop key competences. There will be classes in English, chess, robotics, programming as well as activities which focus on the child’s musical development and rhythmics. The workshops will also be attended by 35 teachers.
The parents of the Pre-schoolers are also scheduled to participate in the project. Dedicated training and workshops are conducted which aim at raising the parents’ awareness of the role of pre-school education.
