Project Description
TRIPOLIS is an initiative aiming at developing conditions promoting business growth of small and medium size enterprises through collaboration and improved professional output of science and technology parks and business incubators operating within the Metropolitan Area Gdańsk-Gdynia-Sopot.
The project will result in the provision of specialist business consulting services by the Business Environment Institutions to meet the demand of entrepreneurs, e.g.:
- Design Management from start to finish – consulting based on industrial design principles and the method of „design thinking”,
- Specialist services with regard to the rights to intellectual property – including consulting in terms of existing patent solutions and defining the areas of research,
- Laboratory services with regard to chemical analysis – consulting is based on the individual client’s needs using laboratory equipment,
- Implementation Laboratory -consulting with regard to requirements verification of the product end-user, based on concrete functionality research,
- Open up – consulting consisting of a verification of technological concept/product and selection of appropriate tools that aim to develop it,
- Social Media Planner – consulting with regard to strategies of a company operating in the social media,
- Multimedia Human Resources Centre – specialist consulting in terms of management of employees’ competences.
The services shall be provided by the project partners: Pomorskie Science and Technology Park, Economy Foundation and Pomorskie Special Economic Zone. Within the next five years at least a hundred Pomorze companies will make use of consulting services.
The project also anticipates a development of an IT platform, where business representatives will be able to search for offers of assistance provided by project partners, beginning with indicated specialist services, training sessions and conferences, and ending with information on availability of office space or conference rooms. The shared IT platform will serve the objective of increased efficiency in managing the existing infrastructure and the resources of the Business Environment Institutions.
It is being estimated that at least half a thousand companies with headquarters in the Metropolitan Area Gdańsk-Gdynia-Sopot will make use of the IT platform.
