Project Description
The main objective of the „Pomeranian e-Health” project is to improve the quality and availability of medical services provided in the area of the Pomorskie Voivodeship and to improve the effectiveness of Pomeranian medical entities for which the Pomorskie Voivodeship is the founding body.
The result of the „Pomeranian e-Health” project will be the implementation of interoperable and integrated e-health systems (along with infrastructure necessary for them to function) within the scope of: creation of electronic medical documentation, management, diagnostics, therapy, logistics, safety & security, information system for patients and their families, information exchange platform, patient satisfaction studies, monitoring of undesirable events, archiving and integration of local and national health care IT systems.
The „Pomeranian e-Health” project provides for the expansion and modernization of IT systems along with the necessary infrastructure and necessary training in 14 Pomeranian medical entities for which the Pomorskie Voivodeship is the founding body. These entities are located on the territory of the Pomorskie Voivodeship, in 8 localities:
- in Gdańsk – 7 entities,
- in Słupsk – 3 entities,
- one entity each in Gdynia, Sopot, Starogard Gdański, Kościerzyna, Wejherowo and Prabuty.
