Project Description
The research and development project, to be completed by us, will allow us to draw up innovative devices for data transmission (e.g. optical nodes, broad-band amplifiers) and an innovative home monitoring system.
The products will be addressed to cable operators which are Internet, television and VOiP telephony providers. Mainly a possibility of enhancing operation effectiveness of HFC and RFoG networks (e.g. higher bandwidth) as well as extension of hitherto prevailing offer by adding a system that improves safety and security of household members will be their benefit. Our products will become a response to challenges of the ICT sector and of information society.
Our research staff, having large experience in R+D, will complete 9 subprojects that will last 35 months in total.
Implementation of the project will allow us to gain new knowledge and also to offer innovative solutions to our customers, the beneficiaries of which will be all users of the Internet, television and VOiP telephony.
