“Nursery school FlexKids BIS”

The project addresses the need of parents who want to return to work after parental leave. The FlexKids BIS nursery school was created by the Flex company, which was able to launch the facility thanks to co-financing from the European Social Fund. The project costs amounted to more than 1 million 100 thousand PLN in total, of which 85 percent was the EU co-financing. The nursery school based in Tczew will accommodate 40 children up to 3 years of age. The selected premises required building adaptation, which resulted in creating a space fostering development and well-being of the young children it provides for. Apart from many games and other activities, the nursery school curriculum features regular English lessons, finger gym activities and eurhythmics. It also organizes a variety of special events such as St Nicholas Day, New Year’s Eve Ball, workshops, drama and theatre activities, art activities. What do the parents think of the project? – The most important thing was that we could both return to work and pursue our careers with the knowledge that our child is well looked after. Having to part from your child for several hours daily can be a difficult decision for any parent, but the knowledge that the child is in good hands made it so much easier for us – said Dominika Dziemidowicz and Robert Czajkowski, parents of little Robert.
