New services from the area of data protection

Thanks to the investment, IQ PL was able to launch a new service into the market under the name ” Disaster Recovery” (DRC), in other words a so-called spare data centre.

The range of services on offer was extended by technologically advanced and reasonably priced services related to data safety and labour automation, with an objective of changing the company’s image from a provider of web hosting services to professional „Managed Service Provider”. A decision was made to purchase additional IT equipment inclusive of air conditioning units, servers which are part of computer cluster, and on which virtual machines for clients are being run. Moreover, other purchased items included servers designed as a back-up for specific clients; disk arrays designed for large or smaller data sets.

To achieve these objectives the company intends to introduce a new service on the market – the Disaster Recovery (DRC), whose task is to provide security and operating continuity for a variety of institutions, in case of their own IT infrastructure break-down.
