HORYZONCIK NURSERY SCHOOL – ASSISTANCE FOR PERSONS INVOLVED IN CHILDCARE IN LOCAL COUNCILS OF PRUSZCZ GDAŃSKI, GDAŃSK, KOLBUDY, WHO ARE RETURNING TO THE JOB MARKET, BY MEANS OF CREATING 15 CHILDCARE PLACES FOR CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE 3.

Project Description

Horyzoncik Nursery School is located in Borkowo at Klasyczna Street in the local council of Pruszcz Gdański in close proximity to councils of Kolbudy and the city of Gdańsk. It is part of the kindergarten, located in the same building.

Thanks to the EU funding the nursery school is equipped with a beautiful playroom in addition to a separate nap room for the youngest children as well as a comfortable changing room located next door. The nursery school is ready to accommodate 15 youngsters who are looked after by three childcare assistants.  A big advantage is also the presence of a kitchen, located in the building of the kindergarten. The meals are always served hot, fresh and prepared in accordance with all health regulations.

Thanks to positive recommendations and our good location we always receive many enquiries from parents. It happens very frequently that an expecting mother fills in an application form for her yet unborn child a year in advance.

The funding from the European Social Fund enabled us to lower our fees for two years. Thanks to the possibility of enrolling their child at the nursery school the parents had the opportunity of finding employment, start their own business or return to work.
