Project Description
Nowa Wieś Lęborska Municipality
The aim of the project was improvement in the quality of education by means of increasing learners’ competences as well as improving teachers’ qualifications with regard to the basics of general education in the schools run by the Nowa Wieś Lęborska Municipality.
Assistance was provided to learners and teachers of primary and secondary schools in: Nowa Wieś Lęborska, Leśnice, Łebień, Garczegorze as well as in Redkowice.
The project included a purchase of equipment for the schools with a total value of nearly PLN 70 thousand, among others: interactive whiteboards with software, laptops, multimedia projectors and projector screens. The project implementation made it possible to conduct 6077 hours of classes for 639 learners. The classes were based on innovative educational programmes aiming to develop the key competences (mathematical competences and basic science and technology competences as well as social competences) using i.e. an e-learning platform: age-appropriate; English lessons as well as educational and vocational guidance and counselling.
The project also included 10 excursions to the Hevelianum in Gdańsk as well as to the Eksperyment Science Centre in Gdynia.
