Project Description

The „Direction – Business!” („Kierunek – Biznes!”) project entails preparing 60 citizens of the Sztumski District to launch and operate their own businesses and financial support for 50 of them to set up their companies.

The project was mainly directed to those without work (unemployed or professionally inactive) above 30 years of age, residing within the Sztumski District.

The support granted included training and workshop. Participants learned how to register and operate a business. They also received a non-repayable subsidy of PLN 22.5 to start up their companies. Additionally, they were offered bridging support for a period from 6 to 12 months. Furthermore, in order to help the participants with their businesses, assistance of a professional adviser was made available.

In order to ensure full freedom, reimbursement was offered on the cost of childcare and commute.
