Project Description
The project „Competent workforce of the Pomeranian TSL sector” is an action taken to improve the situation on the labour market of working age people who on their own initiative are interested in acquiring or improving qualifications necessary to work as drivers of category C/CE/D and acquiring qualifications enabling them to establish their own transport or forwarding company or to work as transport managers.
Results achieved in the project
Due to the very large deficit of professional drivers, the qualifications obtained during the project implementation are very desirable in today’s labour market. Therefore, the project is very popular among people focused on work in the LTD sector or in urban transport. As a unit implementing the project, we have appropriate tools, including vehicles of the models used in the Pomeranian Road Traffic Centre in Gdańsk, qualified staff of lecturers and instructors, a modern lecture hall, a maneuvering area and many years of experience in organizing such training courses. However, the greatest satisfaction for us is the joy of the participant of the efficiently conducted series of training courses completed with a positive result of the state examination, opening new opportunities that often lead to the improvement of the professional situation.
The project is aimed at working people who:
– live – within the meaning of the Civil Code – in the Pomeranian Voivodeship;
– are at the age of professional activity (18 years and older);
– work in micro, small or medium enterprises.
Within the framework of the project, free training courses are conducted which include the following forms of support:
– Driving licence category C: 20 hours of theoretical classes, 30 hours of practical classes;
– Driving licence category C+E: 25 hours of practical classes;
– Driving licence cat. D: 20 hours of theoretical classes, 60/40 hours of practical classes;
– Accelerated Introductory Qualification: 130 hours of theoretical classes, 10 hours of practical classes (including 8 hours of driving in road traffic, 2 hours of driving in special conditions);
– Supplementary Initial Accelerated Qualification: 33 hours of theoretical classes, 2.5 hours of practical classes in road traffic driving;
– ADR Course – transport of dangerous goods: 24 hours of theoretical classes;
– CPC – Certificate of Professional Competence: 46 hours of theoretical classes.
All courses end with a state examination and obtaining a document confirming the acquired qualifications.
The following is also subject to financial support:
– medical and psychological examinations for persons taking part in the C+E driving licence course and the accelerated initial qualification;
– one take of state examination (excluding the examination for category C);
– teaching materials.
