Aktywizacja zawodowa osób niepełnosprawnych

The objective of the project includes preparation of 50 professionally inactive disabled persons to take up employment. The project if the Integralia Foundation is distinguished by comprehensive individual support (40 hours of sessions with specialists) and a well-thought-of programme of group workshops (16 training days). The planned path includes the so-called training to size the topic and programme of which are chosen in line with a direction of professional development of each and every participant.

It is necessary to promote initiatives related to professional activation of the disabled for two important reasons. Firstly, to raise awareness among the disabled that they are staff members of full value who can work in accordance with their qualifications and fulfil professional aspirations. Secondly, we want to show to employers that a disabled person is a motivated employee who will fulfil his/her duties with full involvement if he/she obtains such an opportunity.

All jobless disabled persons residing in the Pomorskie Voivodeship, who for some reasons find it difficult to get or maintain a job are invited to participate in the project.

Current participants decided to observe these difficulties and they focused on their development. They are persons with a moderate or considerable level of disability at different age and with varied biographies. The project is attended both by persons without professional experience, after a long-term break at work, and by persons who want to develop themselves in line with their interests.

While organizing the support or internship at an employer, we also take account of health possibilities, therefore our „Competences to size” project is attended by persons in wheelchairs or with paralyses. Individual approach to each and every participant is of the greatest importance to us.
